Don't they look good?????

Mermaid... or Merman? I say "merman"... way too ugly to be a mermaid!

We bought these things called CityPass(es). Very cool. Super good deal, very affordable (at least for Seattle), with lots of good stuff to do... so today the craziness begins.

First off, at breakfast, we happen to run into our friends, the Murphys, staying at the same hotel as us, having breakfast. Great! Now we have friends to play with! After breakfast, we head to the Experience the Music Project (EMP) and the Science Fiction Museum (in the same building). EMP is super cool. Think Rock Band/Guitar Hero on steroids. The kids loved the karoake part and playing all the musical instruments. The Science Fiction Museum was cool because it had R2D2 (what else do you need?) and lots of other neat stuff. This giant robot display was pretty cool, and the (little) Star Wars stuff that they had.

We then took the Monorail to downtown Seattle, ate lunch at the mall, went to Pike's Place Market, which is very cool - great colors... and we got to see them throught fish! - and then headed to the Seattle Aquarium. All was good there until I lost Reed. I don't think that I've ever lost one of the kids before. Freaked me out a bit (gee... ya think?). We were at the back of the aquarium, and after all of us canvassed the building for a few minutes Keaton found him all the way at the front. He was just totally touring himself... giving me a heart attack!
Off to the 3-hour harbor tour... no, only 1 hour really. It was nice. Got to see all the sights of Seattle from the harbor. Would've helped if there weren't so many clouds covering all the buildings, but it was a nice break from walking around in the rain!

We then headed to Ye Olde Curiousity Shoppe to see the "mermaid", skeletons, geoduck, and all sorts of other strange things, and then back to the hotel for dinner. Pretty crazy, huh? Gotta get the full value of our CityPasses!
